Did anyone else have the time of their life at Lollapalooza? If you didn’t make it, there is always next year! Join hundreds of others at Lollapalooza from August 3rd to 6th of 2023 at Grant Park in the city of Chicago.
Heres what you missed
Some of the artists that performed at this fourday festival are Metallica, Green Day, Dua Lipa, J. Cole, and more! Not to mention J-Hope, a BTS/South Korean artist, who had a huge crowd at his performance. J-Hope even brought out Becky G, a Latin pop singer, and actress. Becky seemed thrilled to perform alongside them because according to Billboard, she “recognized the importance of this major festival moment as artists who don’t operate in the traditional musical mainstream.”
For the Foodies
If you live in our luxe apartment community, you know you’re surrounded by the best food in Windy City, and lucky for you, you won’t have to travel far for foodie-approved food at Lollapalooza! This vegan Mexican restaurant first began in 2004 and has roots all the way to Guadalajara, tacos anyone? If you’d rather cool down with some of the best ice cream in town, Ida’s got your back! Ida’s Artisan Ice Cream that is. Bonus - they have vegan-friendly options as well as their classic dairy. 🍦
History
Lollapalooza first began back in 1991 as a touring event, but after a few years, Grant Park in Chicago became this music festivals permanent home. It was created as a farewell tour by Perry Farrell, singer of the group Jane’s Addiction. Today, this rock festival features too much more than that. It has hip-hop, techno, and art attractions. This event typically brings 300,000 music fans and has even branched out to additional locations as well like Chile, Brazil, Sweden, Argentina, Germany, and France.
