It’s Saturday and you’ve been having a horrible week and want to turn it around. How do you spend it? Getting into Halloween spirit of course! If you’re wondering how to spend the perfect Saturday in Chicago, consider following this agenda!
When you wake up in your beautiful Aqua at Lakeshore East apartment home, start your day with a shower and put on a cute and comfortable outfit with closed-toed shoes! If you’re going with a partner or friends, maybe try to color coordinate for what your day has in store. 📸 Then as soon as you and your friends are ready, head to the nearest Starbucks to get your caffeine fix. In the spirit of Halloween, we suggest any drink with pumpkin cream or a chai tea latte with a dash of nutmeg. 🌰
Next, make your way to Jack's Pumpkin Pop Up located just 13-minutes away from our community. While here get ready to take pictures in front of their stunning backdrops (pretty happy we suggested color coordinating now, huh? 😉), play some carnival games, participate in axe throwing, and so much more! If you have time, you have to get lost in their corn maze. 🌽 With 2-acres of land, you’ll definitely be able to explore their fields for at least a little while! Lastly, don’t forget to pick your favorite pumpkin in the patch before leaving. 🎃 Maybe grab some carving tools if you see any at Jack’s Pumpkin Pop-Up too, unless you’re comfortable carving with a kitchen knife!
When you’re ready to 'hit the hay' (🥁) and make your way back home, we suggest making a few pit stops first! Now, what Fall-festive day is complete without matching pajamas? That’s right, we recommend making a quick trip to Target to pick up some new matching pajamas for you and your friends! And if you’re having a sweet tooth, their Pillsbury sugar cookies should be just around the corner. 👀 Next, run inside Trader Joe's to pick up a quick and easy Fall-themed dinner! From options like Spaghetti Squash spirals, Pumpkin Bisque, and Pumpkin Ravioli, there will be something perfect for everyone. Lastly, drinks! Head to Trader Joe's beverage section and grab some pumpkin beer or apple-flavored wine to enjoy your meal with.
Once you have your pumpkins, matching pajamas, dinner, sweets, and drinks, make your way back home to Aqua at Lakeshore East. Get changed, put on your favorite Fall tunes, and get to cooking. 🧑🍳 Then after you’ve had your meal and drinks, pop your cookies in the oven, turn on Hocus Pocus 2, and get to pumpkin carving! To add to the ambiance even more, light a candle and bring out all of your most comfortable blankets. Sounds like a magical night, wouldn’t you agree?
