National Ice Cream Month in Chicago

Summertime is officially here in Chicago, Illinois! That means blue sky, sunshine, spending time down by the river, and sweet treats to cool you off. Not only is July National Ice Cream Month, but this upcoming Sunday, July 19th is National Ice Cream Day. The third Sunday in July is designated to celebrate the tasty treat, perfect for cooling off on a hot Chicago afternoon. We’ve found some local windy city spots where you can snag a scoop of ice cream this month! And remember, in trying to be more sustainable, opt for the cone only! Skip the cup and spoon and go for the cone!
