Decorating Your Apartment for the Season
Balconies: Turn Views into Vignettes
Your private curved balcony is the perfect canvas for a Halloween statement piece. Frame your space with string lights, pumpkin lanterns, or safe, weather-resistant décor (think faux cobwebs or ghost silhouettes). With the skyline, Millennium Park, and Lake Michigan as your backdrop, your balcony in any layout-be it a studio, one-bedroom, or two-bedroom-transforms into a magical nighttime perch for friends and family.
Entryways and Living Spaces
Aqua at Lakeshore East floor plans embrace open, light-filled interiors. Capitalize on full granite kitchens for pumpkin carving parties-easy cleanup and ample prep space for both fun and safety. Bring out the chic side of the season by artfully arranging miniature pumpkins or autumnal bouquets on your sleek granite countertops and coffee tables in your living room.
In your bedroom, drape cozy throws in orange or black and set an autumn-inspired table using your in-home dining area, perhaps with a bowl of candy corn or cinnamon-scented candles.
Tips:
- Adhesive hooks and window decals won't damage contemporary plank flooring or floor-to-ceiling windows.
- Utilize expansive closets or in-home laundry for easy costume storage and last-minute freshening up before events.
